AKINTERRA carries out applied legal research in the field of international human rights, drawing on relevant standards, protection mechanisms and their implementation in specific contexts.

This work may take the form of thematic studies, comparative analyses, research notes, legal monitoring summaries or reference documents. It helps clarify an issue, consolidate an analytical basis, prepare a project or produce a document that can be used directly in institutional, academic or operational settings.

In addition, AKINTERRA prepares reports and other documents intended for international and regional human rights monitoring bodies and mechanisms.
